Tom was fortunate to have Dave Morehead as his mentor, and in a very short period of time, he was able to build a renewal account that allowed him to set his family up financially for life. Two separate moments stand out that let Tom know that a career with AIL was the right decision: the first time he got his renewal check and the day he signed his SGA contract. Tom's career at AIL is full of highlights. In 1992, Tom became an 80/80 Club winner. Five years later, he was a winner in the 81/81 Club. In 1998, Tom was the #4 Personal Producer and the #2 Master General Agent in the Company. In October of 1998, Tom's stellar performance led to his promotion to State General Agent.
