I spoke with Mike Duncan and was told I would receive a retainer agreement the following day. After not receiving it, I followed up by email two days later with both him and his office. It has now been over a week since our conversation and nearly a week since my follow up email, and I have received no response.

Communication and follow through are critical when hiring legal counsel. Unfortunately this experience did not reflect the level of responsiveness I expect from an attorney, especially before any formal engagement has even begun.
