My husband & I decided to try Ferraro 502 last week for the first time. It was pretty busy and there was only one server for the entire patio so we knew service would be a little slow. He brought us our half litre of wine and my husbands beer, followed by some bread. There was a fly floating in the half litre of wine so the server took it away along with the glass in front of me. After seeing that my husband no longer wanted wine with his dinner so we just had him bring out one new glass of wine. The food was pretty good, I would definitely recommend the pizza over the pasta.

What I couldn't believe was that when the bill came he charged me for 2 glasses of wine (the new one AND the one he took away). Obviously this wasn't a mistake because he had taken the half litre off. My husband refused to let me say anything but I doubt we'll ever eat there again.

This is a wonderful place for the family to go for dinner. I was nervous bringing them but we were told on the phone that they were family friendly. As we went in we saw only young urbanites - no families. Oh well, in we went.
The staff are very friendly, seated us promptly as per the reservation we made and provided generous portions of excellent food. All with many families around the restaurant all enjoying the food and atmosphere.

My friend Brian stopped by the office today so we ventured across the road to Ferraro's by recommendation of my co-workers (lutz and silver) for lunch.

Ferraro's makes some of the best pizza's in town. Great for dine in our take out - As it's across the street from our office - it's a frequent take out favourite. The pizza's are make fresh and fast - and at a very reasonable price.

i am a big fan of ferraro too but lately i am dissapointed with their chicken on my pizza. I just have a feeling that its been sitting around drying out before it makes onto my plate .. resp. into my pizza box. It also doesn't seem to have much taste to it. I think i will have to give up on my romantini and start with some peperoni or veggie alternative.

As one of the few places to have lunch for a reasonable price in foresthill village (avenue & eglinton), ferraro 502 will surpass your expectations.

The friendly, not so stuffy, laid-back atmosphere makes you feel welcome. Food selection is great, wood burning oven in the back behind the bar makes you drewl (and I don't drewl;-)and wine selection is good too - gotta have white wine with pizza right?

It doens't take too long to get your food and once you get the bill, your eyes won't pop out either!! Highly recommended for a quick lunch or maybe family dinner (i don't have a family but could imagine taking my kids there)

Summer patio is on the sunny side, you get sun all day long, i think they have it aaaaall figured out :-)

Because i have an OCD - i go there for the minestrone soup that costs only $4!! and once in a while when i feel adventureous, i get pizza romantini ... scrumptios
