Could not provide the insurance I needed. When the agent mentioned shopping my personal information out to hundreds of other agencies, I told him I wasn't aware they were brokers and NOT to share my information, causing my phone to ring all day w spam calls. The agent had no comment and hung up in my face. I ended up going with biBerk Business Insurance with over 10k five star reviews. Compared to Hiscox reviews, that speaks volumes!

Entered my address incorrectly on my initial quote, was on hold with 5 representatives for over two hours to fix their mistake, manager / supervisor hung up on me when he put me on hold… after two hours to change the address that they screwed up. Called back the next day, said my policy quote would quadruple to fix their mistake. Called GEICO and got a policy cheaper than their initial quote. The most incompetent, diffusion of responsibility waste of time. Stay away!!!

After 8 years of carrying Hiscox Business Insurance and always paying my bill on time, I finally needed to file a claim and they chose to not cover me. I'm a small business owner and if I don't get support from Hiscox, it's possible I may have to file bankruptcy. I wish they followed through on their promises of providing great service. Just another trap, beware.

WORST insurance company ever. Our dog was poisoned by a boxwood tree that a landscaping company planted in our yard knowing we had dogs. The landscaping company had us put in a claim for the vet bills with this insurance company. It's been months, no check. We have had nothing but a runaround and ignored calls. Over a month ago we signed the document to have the check released to us, nothing. Everyone you call has zero brains. I have now turned them into the Pennsylvania State attorney generals office to have them investigated and am hiring a lawyer to go after them. As you can see others have had the same issue.

DO NOT use this insurance company. I STRONGLY recommend going elsewhere. When I signed up, the representative enrolled me in the wrong policy, which created a huge problem from the start. Then, when I needed help with a claim, customer service was extremely difficult to reach and not helpful at all. On top of that, it is expensive for the level of service you receive. This was a very frustrating experience, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking to insure anything.
