Hopefully I will have it on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I love telling stories with my photos. Capturing moments in time that become memories for a lifetime is magical for me. I grew up in Michigan and after graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Art Education, I moved to Chicago in 2000 where I taught Art, Kindergarten – 8th Grade in the city. It wasn’t until I started my own family that the idea of combining my passion for photography with my love of working with children was hatched, resulting in the launching my photography business in 2012. I can trace it back to a specific moment, I was playing with my toddler, it was one of those magical occasions where I realized how precious and beautiful our time together was. Watching her play with her toy kitchen in a pink tutu and cowgirl boots, how sweet and innocent she looked as she pretend to make me lunch. I wanted to capture that instant and treasure it forever. It was in that very second that sent me on a mission to build my own photography business so I could capture those precious moments for others as well. When I am not at a shoot, you can find me spending time with my family or being dragged down the street by our giant golden retriever, Bear. We love going to the beach to hunt for sea glass and spending our day enjoying all Chicago and its Northern suburbs have to offer. Read more
