I had my initial appointment today, and it was a wonderful experience! Dr. Schroder and Jessica (I believe that was her name) made me feel heard and comfortable throughout the entire appointment. They took the time to answer all of my questions and then some, offered helpful advice for managing my rosacea, and provided samples so I could try different products and find what works best for my skin. I truly appreciated how thorough, kind, and helpful they both were. I’m hopeful that with their guidance and care, I’ll finally be able to get my skin under control! I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a team that genuinely listens and cares about helping you find solutions.

I had a first time appointment with Dr Peterson this morning for a skin check. Had a wonky mole that I was concerned about and Dr Peterson biopsied it right then and there. I get anxious for procedures / needles etc normally but Dr Peterson had great communication and makes you feel comfortable. Procedure was quick and painless and will def be recommending him to others!

In my experience, Nurse Stacy has a friendly demeanor and conducts thorough skin checks. I was content with the care she delivered, thank you. However, I found the professionalism at this medical office concerning. Through the thin walls, I heard staff members talking about me and other patients, raising privacy concerns. The front desk staff were nice enough but required multiple follow-ups for basic requests, with no electronic system for patient communication directly with the office. You cannot see a dermatologist for routine care; there is only one dermatologist at this office, and I was told that I only could see him for surgery.

The local anesthetic administered for a biopsy was inadequate. I could feel the razor blade slicing through my skin. While this was painful, the most upsetting experience was when a healthcare provider in Dr. Peterson's office spoke to me in a condescending manner about my need for dermatology care at a young age. I was shocked by this lack of professionalism and disregard for patient dignity.

After dealing with incompetent dermatology offices where I live I was referred to Dr. Peterson for my skin cancer. I had a Mohs procedure with Dr. Peterson and couldn't be happier with the care I received. He explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and the results were excellent. The staff was kind and professional, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Tessa took great care of me before, during and followed up multiple times times the after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Peterson for anyone needing Mohs surgery or dermatology care. Thank you so much!!

I’ve had a great experience since I started coming here. If you know that you need to be seen, call as fast as possible because the new patient appointments take a while to get. The staff is consistently nice and Stacy is very good. I moved from the Greenville area and will continue making the drive to this office to be seen.
