Dr. Clement offers patients more than 45 years of experience. He’s been performing IOL implantation since 1977 and refractive surgery since 1991 with radial keratotomy. Today, he specializes in laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) and photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) surgeries, having contributed to over 25,000 laser vision procedures at Carolinas Eye Center. A leader in ophthalmology and laser eye procedures, Dr. Clement has served as the president of the Charlotte Ophthalmology Society and remains an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. At Carolinas Eye Center’s state-of-the-art facility, Dr. Clement proudly provides comprehensive care for all forms of diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, and other common eye disorders.
