Many of my patients are recovering from surgery, though I also treat non-surgical and pre-surgical injuries.I often explain that workers’ compensation is not like regular health insurance — it’s a unique legal and administrative process that must be carefully navigated. A common challenge is that even medical providers don’t understand the system.
