Unlike traditional self storage, we compliment our self storage services with a transport solution. This comes in the form of a Mobile Self Storage Unit (MSSU) which is commonly delivered to the premises of the customer. Once delivered the customer’s chosen location, they can choose to either load the unit themselves or use our professional packing service. Once loaded, the customer secures the unit with a keyed or combination padlock (which we will happily supply) and we return and collect the MSSU. We then return it to our secure warehouse for safekeeping. If additional storage space is required, we can easily deliver multiple MSSUs; either at the same time (if space is available) or in relay. While the MSSU(s) are in storage, access for the customer to the unit(s) is completely free of charge during opening hours. Ideally we ask for 24-hours notice for access This way we will ensure the MSSU(s) are at ground floor level where the customer can even drive their vehicle up to the door of the unit. This, compared with access in a traditional self storage environment is far more logical. The service detailed above is largely used by our business and domestic customers. However, we can compartmentalise the MSSUs further to accommodate those with a smaller storage requirement. Read more
