My years of dealing with BC Children’s Hospital have left me very horrified. I found a deep seated systemic prejudice within the hospital that dogs me, by staff and doctors. No matter how many attempts I make to present my Supreme Court divorce order and get compliance to let me know of dates or times for appointments for my child (my ex wife does not provide them to me) or provide me with information (specifically medical records), I am met with resistance and out and out refusal to my order. I was told by their top administrator that the mom is the primary parent and it was clearly relayed to me that I am just a piece of dirt divorced father. The all female staff at BC Children’s Hospital choose to circle the wagons for my ex wife (for whatever reason) and are working hard to push me out while they choose to look the other way on hundreds of pages of passive medical neglect. I was kept from my child’s physiotherapist for two years even though my ex wife and staff meet with me regularly. BC Children’s Hospital is not a neutral unbiased place for a divorced dad.
