Shehadey Clock Tower on the outside of the building, named in tribute to the venue’s benefactor, founder of Producers Dairy Foods, who donated US$3 million towards construction. The lobby at the arena’s southeast entrance is named after Elayne Shehadey, Larry A. Shehadey’s late wife. The first concert performance at the venue was that of the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.
