Like most Mexican restaurants in the US, they start you off with a basket of warm chips and a bowl of salsa.
I got the street tacos, which are surprisingly filling given how small each one is. There are two sauces you can put onto your tacos. Each one seems to have a strong cilantro flavor. If you don’t like cilantro maybe refrain from using them.
The tamale tasted great! It is covered in enchilada sauce which elevates the flavor. I have been disappointed in the tamales from the last 2 Mexican places I’ve been to, but this one hit the spot.
The horchata has a strong cinnamon flavor and is not too sweet!
The churro comes with strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream to dip in. I haven’t had a churro since Costco stopped selling them, but these are way better! Definitely a must get at the end of your meal.

This isn’t a food review, although we’ve eaten here before and the food is great.
I’m writing this review because of the kindness and hospitality we experienced last night. After dinner and drinks elsewhere in Issaquah, our group had reached the restaurant’s two-hour seating limit. We understood the policy, but at 8:45 PM we weren’t quite ready to call it a night, so we wandered over to Las Margaritas hoping to find a place to sit, catch up with friends, and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Honestly, we didn’t expect to get a table since we weren’t ordering food. But the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. They gave us a cozy booth, brought over coffee, checked in on us throughout the evening, and kept our cups full without ever making us feel rushed.
Sometimes it’s the little things that leave the biggest impression. Their kindness and hospitality gave us exactly what we were looking for: a comfortable place to relax and enjoy our friends’ company for a little longer. We’re so grateful to the wonderful staff and warm atmosphere for giving us the perfect ending to an already wonderful evening.

Cute little spot in downtown Issaquah! However food and prices did not match up. Almost 30 bucks for a plate of four tacos that were pretty mid was disappointing.

Drinks were good/decent- that's about it.
Service was mediocre at best- server got my wifes order wrong twice (allergy-gluten) and tried to bring out same salad from tortilla shell without remaking. Table chips coldish/stale tasting. Ordered two salads, which were not worth the price at all for the quality received. Also never in my life when asking for extra meat to pay additional $20 for "full steak" on a $20 salad. Mind you dry unseasoned steak- I just laughed when I saw that on the bill. I can't speak for the restaurant side- however the bar chairs are the most uncomfortable, low to the ground chairs ever! That are also on rolling cheap office wheels on uneven tile floors. High top chairs are just as uncomfortable and style makes no sense in a "Mexican restaurant". Definitely will not be coming back here if in Issaquah- I'd fine elsewhere to spend $126 on two salads and four drinks. Reason for two stars- I'd hope other items MIGHT be better.

We stopped into Las Margaritas on our way home from visiting Roslyn, WA for the weekend. This was the halfway point on our way home, so everyone was good and hungry!
We had a large group of 8, but were able to be sat together right away.
The chips and salsa were super tasty and warm, so we dove into those immediately! Yum! The salsa definitely balanced heat and flavor very well!
Our waiter was very efficient and on it with getting everything we ordered right away. The trouble was that, as efficient as he was, at times we felt rushed. Maybe it was just his temperament, I am not sure, but it would have been okay for him to slow down a bit to take a breather!
The food was all great! We had a lot of variety from carne asada to taco salad and burritos. Compliments to the chef for sure!
The restaurant seating area is a little small, so be prepared to be close to your neighbors.
All and all, a delicious lunch was had!
