I asked for a follow up appointment after a month just to be sure if I needed more prescribed drops and also to check eye pressure. Doctor who saw me was very intimidating and downright rude throughout the whole appointment. Because I have problem with my hearing he wouldn’t even let me think of an answer as to why I was there. I told him they I didn’t go there to question the laser surgery they did on me but just as a follow up.
Never would I recommend this place to anyone. Once they get their money you are in your own. You are better off going yo an ophthalmology to perform your cataract laser correction surgery because you can always go back to your surgeon for any questions. I usually don’t post any google reviews but this guy was so mad they I booked this appointment!

Very friendly and knowledgable staff. They always have given me a warm welcome whenever I visited them. They corrected my vision problems, and I am happy with the results. I would like to recommend the Herzig Eye Institute for those who are looking for good ophthalmologists in Toronto.

Very good service. I must say, they have an extremely talented team of ophthalmologists. My grandmother had cataract and I consulted Herzig Eye Institute for a solution. They were very positive and caring. They opted for a laser-assisted cataract procedure and she is completely fine after the procedure. I'm thankful to the entire team of Herzig Eye Institute.

Last month, I went to this clinic for my dad's cataract surgery, a very responsible team. More than my dad I was too scared. I just wonder about their hospitality, they took the responsibility and made me really comfortable and easy. A great place to consider if you are thinking of eye surgery. Quite pleasant and satisfying atmosphere too.

Travelled from the US to Toronto for cataract surgery since the lenses I wanted are not available in the US. I'm glad I did. Dr. Herzig is clearly very skilled and knowledgable. The staff is outstanding and eager to help and follow up. I highly recommend Herzig Eye Institute.

After a few years of debate and fear, I took the plunge and had Dr. Herzig perform a lens refractectomy procedure. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I hated wearing eye glasses for reading and was very deficit. I feel I have a new lease on life and freedom. My husband is getting it done next week as well. The Herzig Eye Institute was very accommodating. I have 2 no charge consultations over a 4 year period of debate. They suggested I speak personally with Dr. Herzig himself so I could be totally comfortable with the idea. Top notch service! Everyone should have this done! Angela Hill

My husband and I decided to do our eye surgeries at the same time. They gave us 10% discount! Bonus!!! The receptionists are very friendly. Before you go into the surgery, they have a massage therapist to give you a quick massage to calm you down. Bonus!!! The doctors are dedicated! Good follow-up too. Highly recommended place for your precious eyes!!!!

Bad experience.
Laser surgery did not work very well. I still need glasses.
My experience going into many times to Hertzig was not good at all. Every single time I saw a different person. They have very high turnover of staff. You get to see Dr. Hertzig for all of 1 minute right before the surgery.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
