Took my two boy's they both thought it was crap. The burger was tastless, fries not bad, onion ring the worst thing we ever ate. Need some thing to make a go of it.

fries are great, but burgers - not so good. esp kid burgers tend to be on overly well done

just ate here last night and thought the burger was great. I held the bun and topped it with goats cheese and guacamole. Had a side salad. Yummm

A puritan, I still prefer Licks, but SSB is not bad. Kudos on all the range of toppings (pricey), but there was not enough effort put into the patties. Beefier and juicier would be better.

unfortunately, i had already eaten when i joined some coworkers here for lunch, but all i know is the food looked amazing. being able to top your own burger is great...its like an upscale, gourmet harveys.

No question about it. South street burger is by far the burger place to go to. The potine and milkshakes are also amzing things to get there.

burgers itself really delishious. juicy, flavorfull with lots of gourmet style topping to choose from .. mango chutney, garlic mayo, goat cheese, guacamole just to name a few of them. they just need to open more locations and advertise, it would be a real treat for any neighbourhood

Goodbye Licks? Hello South St? Is it true?
Yes...seems our family has made the switch! We now frequent the new South St Burger Co that opened up in Leaside in the Home Depot plaza across from Best Buy.
Better fries of course because this place it brought to you by the fry guys from New York Fries - Canada's own french fry legend. They have even nailed the Onion rings - Light and crisp and not the least bit greasy.
I love the gourmet sauces and selections of cheese. In fact I just can't decide so I order 2 kids burgers (only 2.50 each). debsil.n49.ca loves the chicken breast sandwich. Kids :) :).
Clean, efficient, sleek looking - enough? Don't you want to try it?
