Tried calling for new service today, 10x between 4:555pm-5:40pm. NO ONE answers. Very* unprofessional and rather shocking that Metro has a store in Santa Barbara like this. Take your low-standard service out of our Premier Region: Get out of our town, you are an embarrassment! *and Ramon, do not waste your time replying with the same message, you give ALL the other complaints here…you should be fired. I will keep my AT&T Service now and tell everyone I know, to visit their (professional) stores over yours!

Showed up on a Sunday at 4:18 pm to find the door locked. All the lights, display cases, & tv screens are on but nobody appears to be manning the store. Can't comment on the service, they didn't show up to provide any!!

I wanted to share my most amazing experience at metro for the 2 times I was there. Alfredo, is not only professional but he truly cares in helping his customers get the best offers and deals for their plans. He is detailed, honest and straight to the point. Talk about having options when it comes to your phone service!! Never switching, always staying with the metro PCS family.

I called today Sunday September 22, 2024 around 3:40pm. A male answered the phone. I called because I was hoping to switch from Verizon to Metro-T Mobile. I asked him for his name so I could address him with my request and so I knew who I spoke with to request him when I went in to sign up and get started with a new phone company. He refused to give me his name. I was confused but asked if there was another person or manager I could speak to. He (with an attitude) informed me a manager wouldn’t be there until tomorrow and that he didn’t have time to answer any of my questions. I figured he was busy with customers so I said ok may I just get the managers name and I’ll call tomorrow. He then yelled at me and told me “I told you I don’t have time for your questions” and hung up on me mid sentence. I called back 3x and each time I called he would pick up the line and then hang up on me. I would love for the owner of this establishment can respond to me as I was left with a very bad impression on this business and the employees. Is this proper procedure and the way this locations treats a protection customer?
Follow up on my review: I immediately emailed the owner, Ramon and didn’t hear back, so I called the store to speak with him. The original associate that hung up on me answered the phone. Told me Ramon told him he could help me. He said the store was empty and that I had his undivided attention. I asked him why he thought it was a professional move to hang up on me. He again flipped it on me telling me that if I was calling to complain then he didn’t have time for unnecessary things. That the store had 3 paying customers that needed his attention. I questioned that and said you just told me the store was empty. Yea well I lied. So if he lies to me he lies to others and most likely his manager. But since Ramon doesn’t want to communicate with me I feel this is something he doesn’t see as an issue his associates behavior or demeanor. This is not customer service this is an abusive relationship and they are the narcissist and anyone signing a contract is stuck with this behavior for the term of your agreement. I just called Verizon who had better customer service and my funds go to someone I can have a conversation with and not be told I’m the issue when calling to ask questions on plans. Run run and run! Sadly I didn’t get the associates name. Even though corporate told me it is policy for them to have a name tag as it’s part of their work attire and if they don’t have a name tag on they must provide a first name to any customer. He told me they didn’t need to provide names. He just didn’t want to be named on this review or anywhere.

I like Metro as a phone service but I was mislead concerning the monthly insurance I pay. It turns out that it isn't Metro backing the insurance, it's a third party insurance and it's a "discount" on a new phone, but not supplied by Metro; this insurance company will mail me a new phone and I have to mail them my old phone. Metro really should be more clear on this up front, I never would have agreed to this if I knew.
Update: I attempted contact via the owners email supplied below and have received no response. Classy.
