After recently shopping at Le Gnome located in West Edmonton Mall, I am determined NEVER to step foot in that store again. I planned to purchase an item, but when I got to the till, I was informed the price marked as incorrect and whey would NOT honour the price on the item. When I complained, the manager said that "I could argue all day, but that would not make a difference." I asked for corporate information, she refused to give me the information, and she refused to give me her name. Any store that will not honour the prices on their products and are so blatantly rude to customers, is NOT a store worthy of my business. In the time of a recession, stores must compete for business. Le Gnome seems to think they can treat their customers with disrespect and not suffer negative feedback. I would advice anyone shopping at Le Gnome to think carefully before making a purchase. I have had other friends who were sold faulty products, and Le Gnome refused to take it back even with a receipt. At the Le Gnome, the customer is NEVER right, and does not have the right to be treated with respect. Anyone looking to purchase household items should think twice before purchasing anything at this store.
