PLEASE….DON'T GO TO PORT ORANGE MODERN DENTISTRY UNTIL YOU READ MY POST (thanks!) Went in for 6 month cleaning which were free with Dental Insurance. After the probing, she brought up our X-Rays on the Screen and said that weI had Gum Disease and needed Deep Cleaning. I told her we had just had teeth cleaned 6 months ago & ONLY WANT BASIC CLEANING....and BOTH OF US ARE NOT EXPERIENCING ANY PROBLEMS...NO GUM BLEEDING, SWELLING, NO PAIN....NOTHING!. After cleaning, Receptionist came in & said my bill would be $360 & my husband’s bill would be $240. I told her our dental cleaning is FREE. I asked for owner's name & she gave me Email address of the owner (Kriston.Spragg@pacden.com). Filed Grievances @ Dental Insurance Company. They replied that we were billed correctly. Yes....my Dental Insuance company is also SCAMMING us...but....nobody does their job....since COVID....right? Problem was....we did NOT AUTHORIZE OR SIGN FOR THESE DEEP CLEANINGS! DONT GET SCAMMED BY PORT ORANGE MODERN DENTISTRY. JUST DON'T GO THERE. Just want to protect others from FRAUD! These guys are performing Dental Scaling & Root Planing that are UNNECESSARY and WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION....AND....MAILING OUT A $600 BILL THEREAFTER....WHICH YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY....IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR CREDIT MESSED-UP! Tell your friends to BEWARE & stay away from PORT ORANGE MODERN DENTISTRY! Thanks for the read....just trying to protect others! Robin
