We started Follow The Cap because we noticed how many millions of bottle caps were being thrown into our landfills across Canada and we wanted to help reduce this one use product. For the last year, we have been collecting bottle caps from local bars and restaurants and we have collected over 1,2 million bottle caps in that time. But what are we going to do with these bottle caps that keep them out of our landfills? That was the hard question, but with a lot of hard work, we have found several ways to give these bottle caps a new home. We have found people from across the globe who want to use our bottle caps for different projects like bottle cap art, custom-made furniture pieces, and even for rooftops for people in India.
