I hired Ron from A-Ron to help with foundation work. He is a total SCUM BAG! Do not use Ron. He is a drug addict (on meth as I found out later), and will ask for payment up front. He will use every reason why he needs money up front from "getting divorced, funeral expenses for his mother, materials, and to pay his guys". Initially I did not pay him up front until he started the work. Then he just moved things around to make it look like he was doing work. He will show you how he measures things, etc, and leave tools and some materials there to make it look like he is doing work. However, he did no work at all. Unfortunately, I paid him money for which I did not get any work completed. Very frustrating.

He will also try to legitimize who he is by telling you about him being a MMA fighter, send you youtube videos of himself online fighting people, and find any other way to make himself sound legit.

To give you an idea of how much of a scum bag Ron is, he told me that he couldn't turn up to the job as he was in rehab "relapsing after the death of his mother, and the divorce he was apparently going through", and he was not getting out of rehab for a month. I then called from another number to have him come out to a job. He turned up to that job when he was "apparently" in rehab. Please do yourself a favor and do not use Ron. Also, do not pay any contractors in advance.

A warrant for his arrest for theft is in process.
