He and his team are dedicated to the care of children and teens with skin conditions. He works closely with family practitioners, general pediatricians and other pediatric sub-specialists in the area. Dr. Conlon also maintains collaborative relationships with many pediatric dermatologists throughout the country. He often shares cases with them to maximize your child's care. Together, Dr. Conlon and his team will strive to help your family understand your child's skin condition and how best to manage it. A native of Springfield, he attended Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He was selected by his peers to become a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in his third year. Dr. Conlon completed his residency and fellowship training in pediatrics and pediatric dermatology at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and an additional dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. While there, he received honors for his clinical expertise and teaching abilities. He remains active in the Society of Pediatric Dermatology and is a reviewer for the journal Pediatric Dermatology. His extensive training allows him to understand skin conditions unique to each age, how they affect your child, and how to best treat them (both safely and effectively). He has knowledge and experience in the use of topical, oral, systemic and biological therapies in children. It is important to Dr. Conlon that children and parents are listened to and that their questions are answered. His staff works with families as a team to make skin care as pleasant as possible for both the children and parents.
