I don't understand. I was waiting by the door for my delivery and checking tracking every half hour or so. Suddenly I see "Attempted Delivery - Receiver Unavailable" what the hell? They didn't ring the doorbell or knock which makes no sense. Now I have to go all the way over there to pick up my package, thanks a lot...

I needed to sent legal documents with Purolator from Coquitlam to Prince George to have them stamped by the Court Registry, then have them returned to me by Purolator so that I could once again send them off to Kelowna to have someone served. I was told by the Court Registry to send the documents with a prepaid envelope so they could return them to me. I asked at the Purolator desk about the prepaid envelope and she said they don't do that, but that she would enclose an envelope and the return way bill addressed to myself to put the stamped documents in. She said they could be sent COD so I could pay for them when they came back.

FALSE INFORMATION! They don't do that and while I was waiting for the return of the documents, I get a call from the Court saying purolator wouldn't pick them up because the pkg wasn't paid for. So, I make a call to their call center and what do you know ... I was able to pay $39 on my AmEx card to have the envelope returned to me. Not to mention needing these papers is very important and it's down to the wire. I get a call again from the Court saying Purolator had the wrong Master Card number so couldn't pick up the pkg again. I told the nice gal at the Court that it was all taken care of earlier, I had a confirmation number and the it wasn't put on master card ... IT WAS AMERICAN EXPRESS!!!!. The friggin driver wasn't smart enough to know how the different cards start with certain numbers and most of all couldn't problem solve his way out of a paper bag. Just because he assumed it was master card, it never crossed his mind that it was AmEx. Without that enevelope of documents, my case is ruined. I paid double their fee for weekend delivery, I was assured there would be no problem and after speaking with the last purolator rep trying to get this pkg delivered on time, I was told they make no gaurantees and they can't do anything about it. Thanks for nothing Purolator ( or is that "Never or Later" ). Trust me ... your time, energy and money is better spent with FedEx or UPS or snail mail. PuroLATER doesn't cut it. At least I know one of my wasted dollars is "supposed" to go to a good cause.

Never again!
