This particular location is situated in a strip mall on the north side of King Street West just east of Dundurn. Don't let the small storefront fool you. It's a nice size once you get inside. The staff are very friendly but most importantly very knowledgeable. It's an excellent store if you're just starting out or new to art.

I still can't figure out their pricing model for canvas. It seems like canvas, particularly the non-gallery style, is priced well below market value - as if it's a lost leader. They drag you in looking for cheap canvas then get you on the rest of the materials. But they don't do that with the paints and brushes, and other supplies. They're also reasonably priced. So I don't get it.

In any event, terrific store with just about everything you'd every need to take part in the world of art.
