This location was doing ok until
I tried to return a defective ball valve that wouldn’t open or close properly and in some cases would lock up. Presented in the original
box with the invoice. Part was purchased at the Victoria location where I was working on a project. Had to buy another ball valve elsewhere to complete the job. The Abbotsford location did everything they could to come up with a reason not to take care of me. a) Purchased from another location b) Cash trade customer. The counter staff and the lady that hiding in her office should take a look at improving the basic process of their returns/exchanges policy. Wolseley HO in Toronto has been notified of this issue.

Although my issue of a rusted old drain pipe opening tool was not solved - tool I got was not for screwed bathtub drain
But people were very friendly and helpful
I strongly recommend this business for any of your pluming needs

It will not take them too long to shut their doors with the non smart staff they have, clearly don’t know how to do business and have 0 respect for contractors that their whole industry relies on. Made me leave the store upset from a mistake they caused with no intention for an apology.

I just want to say these guys are way above any other for customer service. My wife and I bought a gas hot water tank from them thinking we could put gas instead of electric. When the plumber came it just wasn’t possible to get the venting we needed for gas. They exchanged the unopened box for a new electric tank.

Thanks for the great service and for being a decent human being in a word that doesn’t have many. Especially in business.

as a first time buyer at Wolseley i was extremely pleased with the expertise and knowledgeable help I got from counter staff here.
Not only did the young man there identify the part I needed, but he found one in their old parts box - and gave me it gratis.
I will be coming here for plumbing needs in the future rather than HD or Rona.
Such excellent treatment is gratifying and unusual.these days.
