First and last time. I took a 15" truck booked for just 4 hours. Unfortunately stuck in mud within 10 minutes of the dealer. It took 48 hours to get service from roadside assistance. No help from U haul customer care and this dealer without hesitation charged for days and I ended up paying $120 for just driving 8 Km!!

I have used this comapny a few times in the past and have typically had good experience with customer service. Recently, I had two interactions that were unprofessional and seemed racist to me. When I did call the president to share that with him the details in an effort to help them improve in this area, he was dismissive of my concerns and made excuses for his employees' behavior. I have reported this issue to Uhaul and hopefully there will better customer service in the future.

The list of issues were:
-poor customer service behavior - extremely unprofessional
-sloppy admin work that caused a truck to not be available, an extra $600 charge (this was reversed in the end after an hour of my time)
-sloppy admin work that caused a reservation to have the contact information stored incorrectly
-no to little communication about what was taking place and arguing about charges that were incorrect instead of presenting them professionally and calmly
-Lack of good and professional management - mistakes happen and my friend and I were very patient, we were not treated well and it seemed to me that some of the comments were racist

Horrible experience. Woman that works there is paranoid, verbally abusive and gives out confidental information about others units (ex: how many, if they have paid their bill etc).

A few day after renting a unit we arrived and entered the facility with our code through the gate as instructed. I had errands to do so I left my friend there and drove away. He then walked the rest of the way to the door you use to enter the area that keeps the indoor units. However, when he reached the door it was locked. The staff had failed to unlock it as we were they told they did during business hours. This forced him to have to walk around to rhe front to get someone to unlock the door(which should have already been done). Everyone was busy so he to walked back around till they could help him.

But that never happened, instead the woman that rented to us got to him and started freaking out on him for walking in the facility claiming he was breaking confidental rules. Something about maybe her coworker being the one that saw him on foot first and hadnt seen him be dropped off. Whatever her issue this set her off. My friend called me to come back immediately.

When I arrived back she was still yelling profanities exclaiming how she isnt our babysitter and she cant/ won't handle it and other nonsense along with making threats . She demanded we get out and clear out our unit telling us that now the contract was no more and we had to clear in 30min. She also refused to refund the rest of the month. It was so unexpected unwarranted and messed right up.

Piecing it togther perhaps her outburst was triggered by paranoia about the information she gossiped few days earlier and snapped over it as during the ordeal she was making Reference to the information as though we had been plotting something nefarious.

We had done nothing wrong at all.

In hindsight we wish we refused and demanded she call the owner or even police. But her behavior was so disturbing and really caught us off gaurd so we just got the hell out.

It's a storage place. Probably the most standard storage place you can store stuff. Units are clean and insulated I think at least. People are nice. Just nothing super special about it.

I have Been renting bay/shop for many years. Always friendly easy to talk to. Never have any issues with rental repairs or issues. I would recommend this company to rent for all your storage needs!!

This place is a nightmare to deal with. Stay away from them. Much better prices elsewhere. Go to someone who appreciates your business. If I could give them a 0 I would. They still owe me money and are avoiding to pay me my money. It's been since July and now its October and they are still giving me the run around.
