No issues with the dental work however billing was a nightmare. After receiving a final invoice with $0 owing they turned around and said we actually owed them a few hundred dollars more but were not able to explain why this was, where the extra charges came from or even if they had been submitted to our Insurance company. Upon my request they sent me what they admitted was "a very confusing family ledger". I spent several hours on the phone with our Insurance company going through the charges and found that they had charged us for procedures that were never done, failed to submit certain claims to the insurance company and had never contacted our Insurance to sort out the discrepancies. Instead of working with us to clear this up BrightSmile threatened to book us with a collections agency. Terrible! I would recommend patients for BrightSmile Crowfoot in Calgary thoroughly check their invoices vs. what their Insurance company has on file as, with the level of disorganisation we've seen, our problems cannot be the only ones. As I was told by a staff member their extremely confusing ledger means an audit is not an easy task, which is likely why errors are not caught and simply paid without question. The dental service was fine but the follow-up was hardly a painless process.

Any place that tries to strong-arm clients into paying with threats instead of working with them to explain billing issues should be avoided.
