James S. Sobiek, MD, and Donald S. Huene, MD, specialize in comprehensive care for all aspects of the musculoskeletal system, including diagnosing, treating, rehabilitating, and preventing injuries and diseases. While Drs. Sobiek and Huene are board-certified orthopedic surgeons, they often successfully treat patients with a variety of nonsurgical therapies. These noninvasive treatments include medical counseling, medications, casts, and exercise therapies. The doctors are dedicated to helping patients live pain-free, active lives, with optimally functioning joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. When it comes to surgery, both doctors are skilled in repairing bone fractures; shoulder injuries and chronic conditions; and sports injuries. They also perform arthroscopy and joint reconstruction and replacement surgeries. Dr. Sobiek is skilled at unicompartmental, or partial, knee replacement surgery, as well.
