Five stars for Emily, the travel agent we've worked with however the receptionist I've dealt with on two occasions lacks professionalism and courtesy. When purchasing euros she asked for debit card PIN, which I refused which seemed to irritate her. Second occurrence was an inquiry into their office offering notary services. She would not answer yes or no instead asking me what it was that I wanted notarized. This led to a confrontational conversation that simply should not have occurred

We have been married for 37 years and this is the first time we have had to write a negative review. We're writing to tell you about our experience with a AAA Travel Agent.
This is the first time we used a travel agent and it was a nightmare. We have been with AAA 32 years and we thought they would have the best!! We were wrong, it seems our agent doesn't own a map or a clock.
First,we told her we'd like to stay at a Marriott up there. She said there are no Marriott's up there. We were walking through the Calgary Airport and there it was, The Marriott!!! Calgary is 1 1/2 hour from Banff. We could've used our Rewards and Points at The Marriott. Instead of booking us at The Marriott, she sent us 3 hours away from the airport, to Copper Point Resort in Invermere, British Columbia.
We had told her we wanted to keep it as economical as possible, yet she booked us in a suite with a kitchen, three hours away. Now, when are we going to use a kitchen? We got to the resort late,11 ish PM, again 3 hours from the airport, and had to get up at 3:30 AM to drive 1 1/2 hour to Banff, to catch a shuttle to Lake Morraine. This is the only day we had to explore and we did a lot of driving , went to dinner and returned to resort for a late dinner, as again, we had to get up at 3:30 AM to drive three hours to the airport.
When we realized how awfully planned this was, we asked if we could stay closer to Banff... sure, but we would have to pay $600.00. We are still baffled why she booked us 3 hours from the airport. There's really no acceptable excuse for that. We bought cancellation insurance, also, which we did not use. We just thought a AAA Travel Agent would do what's best for us. She most certainly did not and I'm guessing we aren't the only people this has happened to.

Excellent service from AAA. I was able to easily receive roadside assistance, in a timely fashion, with the service gentlemen easily unlocking my car after my keys became locked inside. The knowledgeable guy arrived quickly to my car within 25 minutes, and feasibly jumped the battery. I was operational again in a matter of minutes, and grateful for my AAA plan and services rendered.

Nowadays it's easy to book your travel on-line, but there's nothing quite like face to face service. Ashley in the Sandusky AAA office recently booked trips for me. She is very personal, knowledgeable and friendly. We received great service. (the other employees are great as well.)

I recently stopped at the Sandusky AAA to get a new travel Visa card. The friendly, young lady who assisted me was very helpful. She explained the card thoroughly and even checked on previous cards that I no longer use. It seemed to me that she enjoys her job, as she smiled often and made sure that I had everything I needed.
