I agree, but include the Zellers on Stone Road as well, no matter what time you go or what store you go to this is indicitive of Zellers overall. Includes the one by my parents out of town in Hamilton as well. I guess now that it is bought by Target so I have heard I won't feel bad going to Walmart since I won't be supporting a Canadian store any longer. I hate to say it but maybe the American's know more about customer service. Say it isn't so....

I have been to many Zellers in my life. I am from Canada, they are everywhere, you get the picture. I live right across the street from the Eramosa Zellers, and I go there often for things I need. Lately, I have noticed how awful it is. When I go line up, there are usually only 2 cash register's open MAX (no more than 2, ever) and there are huge line ups at two. ALSO, the one cash register is the customer service desk, so people are lining up to pay there, as well as doing returns. This is so annoying, and they don't call anyone else to the front unless it gets really long. The employees aren't especially friendly, rushing the sales, and shoving the product and receipt in my hands. I understand you're busy, and you are trying to make the line move along, but c'mon. Don't let out a big sigh when the older lady pulls out her change purse to make exact change. Also, I am sure this has to do with the manufacturer and not Zellers, but I bought a double sheet set today, and it is a twin set. Even thought it was labeled double. Also, it only came with one pillow case cover, and not two, like it says. I am going to try to take it back tomorrow, and if I can't exchange, or get my money back, I am gonna lose my shit. Also, the store is always super messy. And it smells. WORST ZELLERS EVER.
