They have a huge selection of threads and a variety of different styles of canvases. All of the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about both needlepoint and cross stitch! They are always willing to help tech me new things and guide me, but aren’t over bearing and never make me go their direction with what I want to stitch.

I was excited to find a shop nearby to support my newly found hobby. Sadly, when I went in, the clerk/owner was Extremely unfriendly, and unhelpful. When I asked about classes for my daughter & I she automatically assumed I meant a small child, and immediately said ‘NO’. When I explained that daughter is in her late teens she continued to persist that it wasn’t a hobby to just ‘try’ out, that it was only for those who are serious. Needless to say after inquiring a bit more I gave up and decided to order straight from DMC. It’s sad because I love supporting local… but it’s clear this owner is not really interested in obtaining new customers.

I was looking forward to visit this shop for months as a work trip brought me to the area. The initial staff member was friendly but seemed cautious as I am a male stitcher. After the owner got off the phone being extremely rude to a customer, she turned to me and said “What do YOU need?” She was extremely short with me and very off putting. The store is way too crammed with old items that are extremely out dated. And when I went to shop for floss for the chart I was going to buy, she had none of the colors I needed. When I asked about the floss, she opened with “That’s all that I have. If it’s not there I don’t have it!” Will never return to this Persnickety shop. The name says it all!

While she shop has great selection of threads, charts, and fabric, the owner is extremely rude. The only reason I have gone back the couple of times I have is because there is a mother/daughter duo that works there, and I enjoyed working with them.

Awesome LNS, stopping by from a long road trip and since no LNS near me, I stopped! I’m glad I did, so many things to choose from and the women who were working were awesome! Thank you!
