I have shopped quite a few times in the Walkley Road store and placed over the phone orders and have always found the ladies very helpful and pleasant. It's not the prettiest store but usually it's the customers that create the mess when they shop there in my experience.

When I arrived, with my 2-year-old in tow, there were only a couple of other customers at the back of the room. The saleswomen were at the front. They did not budge to help me with the pattern that I chose or to help me find the fabric. What they did do is criticize my putting my daughter on the counter right next to me, with a hand on her to make sure that she didn't fall off, so that she could choose out a pattern for me. They told me to take her down from a box that she climbed up onto when I was trying to find the fabric for the pattern. All they did was continue to re-fold rolls of fabric or straighten up their inventory.

Rude, not helpful staff, not family-friendly environment, poor selection . Never buying anything from this store.

This store is a total dump and I'm surprised it is allowed to operate. The washroom is filthy, without toilet paper, or paper towels. The manager is snarky, and tells off staff in front of customers. Baseline Road store is a pleasure, however to shop in. It is obvious that John, the manager really cares about his store. What a difference!

One of the most poorly managed stores I have ever had the misfortune to go into. There boxes everywhere, it was extremely warm and assistant manager was berating the employees in front of everyone. I feel badly for the people employed there. Just horrible.
