Dr. Benich strives to work with patients, families, and the community to achieve the best possible care for his patients.Dr. Benich was born and raised in Mount Pleasant and still lives there with his family. He enjoys practicing medicine in the community in which he grew up. After graduating from the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Benich went on to receive his residency training through the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program here in Charleston as well. He served as chief resident in his final year of residency before joining the Department of Family Medicine.
