Dr. Delaney performs DIEP flap breast reconstruction as well. He also frequently performs cosmetic breast surgery, including breast augmentation and breast lift surgery as well as cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery. Dr. Delaney also works closely with the MUSC Weight Loss Surgery Program to help patients complete their journey following weight loss by removing excess skin and fat that frequently develops after weight loss. He has extensive experience in body contouring surgery after weight loss, including abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), brachioplasty (upper arm lift), thigh lift, and liposuction. Dr. Delaney also specializes in the treatment of abdominal wall ventral incisional hernias that require the specialty repair technique of component separation due to the recurrence or large size of the hernias. A graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM), he completed his general surgery residency as well as a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Delaney then completed a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
