The driving school is actually located on Simcoe Street North, Oshawa. Our son took all the in-class lessons, but when it came to the in-car portion the instructor rarely answered his phone or returned calls, so it took months and months to get in-car sessions. The instructor's lack of response and availability resulted in our son taking over the allotted time allowed by the Ministry to finish the course and take the test (instructor actually booked his road test then called the week prior to advise that the Ministry would not allow our son to take the test because it was over a year since his in-class lessons and he had not completed his road portion!). It took numerous calls and complaints to the school to get them to respond to our outrage (again, they did not return calls). Only after much arguing and pushing the matter did they agree to allow him to take the in-class lessons again with no charge (our preference was to get a refund but they refused). After having retaken the in-class lessons and 1 remaining in-car lesson we asked the instructor to book his road test, only to be told that our son would have to pay $40 to the Ministry because he had cancelled the previous road test!! Since it was the instructor who booked the test and cancelled it, I confronted the instructor on this and he just laughed! A complaint is being sent to the MTO.

I would strongly suggest that you do not use this drivers school. My son had taken a course there and only got the in class. After numerous numerous phone calls to no avail I found out that the MTO had shut them down for 3 months (this was over a year ago. I had tried to get the owner's name and the girl who answers the phone says she didnt know it. After filing a complaint with the MTO I found out the owner is her father. We paid this course in full and only received 1/2 and have requested on numerouse occasions for a refund. Again the calls go unanswered. I am now in the process of filing another complaint with the Minister. This business should not be in business. It is unbelievable to me that there are also others who lost out while this place was shut down (or at one point they were at a funeral, then it was a wedding). I have left the owner several messages and they go unheard - what a way to run a business!!!! This is not the end, I will continue to get our money back!!!!!!!!!!!!
