After, nearly get a quote for every single storage in the St Albert and Sturgeon County, I finally find this place, that was; affordable, nice and clean, no hidden fees and no contract obligations! Yay!!! Can’t beat that. On top of that, Christina was the lady who showed me all the units without rushing me or pressuring me to decide quickly, she was very patience and extremely knowledgeable about all the things a customer has. So I got the small storage for my kids bikes, without feeling I was “buying” the storage space instead renting it. Koodos for Christina and I have passed the voice to family and friends.

Had a great experience with Luis and Elias renting at mini mall storage. Needed a heated space to store things for my business and Luis helped me over the phone, then in person showed me the units so I could choose which one worked for me. Units are clean and great options for whatever you need. Would recommend.

The lady who helped us was incredibly kind and patient. I had made an online reservation, and she called me the same day to explain the prices clearly and invite us to come see the different unit sizes in person. When we arrived, she welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and helped us choose the right space for our needs. The process was smooth and friendly from start to finish — we’re really happy with the experience and look forward to using Mini Mall Storage!

Rented a unit over the summer of 2025.
Units were clean, well maintained, and well supervised. Staff were also very helpful and friendly. Only thing that could have been better was the price.

Absolutely amazing facility and staff. It is super clean, maintained, secure MOUSE FREE!!!! The front staff are always accommodating, friendly and they go tue extra mile to help you get the cheapest rate possible. Hands down, Connie, Christina and the Property Manager Elias are professional, pleasant, courteous and top notch. Pricing is fair and id rate tue facility a 10/10. If you're looking for a safe and reliable place to rent storage this is the one. (And I've been to a few!) Well worth the drive from northeast Edmonton to come here

We had our unit broke into TWICE while we were away last summer (theif put a new lock on it and came back 4 days later). We found out after another unit’s owner reported theirs broken into and they then looked at the video footing and saw ours was also bulgarized. Police said it happens all the time. And yes MiniMall is useless. We had our summer toys in there, including our ebikes and golf clubs and much more (we were between houses). Insurance caps sport items at 1000$. We lost a lot. That place is watched and they come prepared to empty what’s valuable.

I called last Friday, visited Monday, and moved my stuff in yesterday. The staff made the process very smooth and were nothing but helpful. The price was competitive, and the unit and facilities are far cleaner than the storage unit that was rented prior.
I have read reviews about frequent price increases, and if I find this in the coming months, I will edit this review accordingly.
A few small suggestions I could make to the management would be that the email template they use could do with a little overhaul in it's presentation. The main office could use a bit of updating as well, with some patching/painting in the reception. Both would go a long way to bring the quality of the overall experience up to match the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility.

Very positive experience renting a storage unit from Mini Mall Storage. Easy to set up on line with.very cooperative and professional staff ready to assist and respond to questions and concerns. Easy to access the site. The process to terminate the rental is very simple and easy as well.

I’ve had nothing but a great experience with this company. They have been friendly and helpful anytime I have needed to call them and I found the rate fair especially since I got 24 hour access to my unit. Would highly recommend for anyone in St. Albert who needs a storage unit

It’s ok, my stuff was safe.but just know that your fee will increase every six months, and not just by a couple dollars .if you intend on something long term, just know that it will start off at a good price and quickly get very expensive for what it is.

I rented a unit here for a little over a year and had a great experience with the staff and facilities here. Spacious units and easy to back into if you’ve got a U-Haul or trailer. Staff are very friendly and responsive even on weekends and after hours.

i have been here for over 7 years and ever since an american company took it over , they raise the price at least 1-2 times a year and add processing fees etc
i will be definitely moving my things as soon as i have the time as i live in another province now …

This place is awful, I deal with customer service all day every day for my job and I have never in my life heard of a company not returning emails or phone calls to a customer. My baby daddy came into some hard times over the holidays. He kept in contact with them letting them know what’s going on. They won’t accept payments they want it all in full. Well how does one pay all in full when they missed payments due to the holidays and the extreme cold weather as he works outsides. And he has rent and bills to pay, and also has a new baby. His grandmother recently passed away and left him a few items that mean quite a bit to him. They wouldn’t communicate with him, and wouldn’t allow him in to grab his sentimental items which I think is one of the rudest things ever!! Anyways I guess what I’m asking is, is there anyone out there willing to help him out? As it’s in auction right now and he has till 10 am tomorrow, or is there anyone who has a suggestion on what to do to get some of the items back that his grandmother had left him?

Awful customer service and never-ending increase of rates and fees. Charging fees simply to process your payments and fees for administration to do their job. They insist that you need to pay for their insurance even when you've demonstrated that you have your own property insurance.

Stay away! Go down the road! Horrible experience. Had items stolen from my storage unit and the process was painful to say the least. Their insurance company and policy doesn't come close to competitors. Forms signed vs forms that the insurance company had were different. Conveniently, there were limits that weren't on the forms that were signed. Their customer service, especially from "head office" is a laugh. No reply to phone calls. Miscommunication amongst themselves. Attempts to express my dissatisfaction were made only to be met with "there's nothing we can do" or for calls and emails to be ignored with no reply. Not worth the savings. Not worth the "convenient" hours. Not worth anything.

Well, while things can be tricky having no employee on site and having lots of emails and links sent from a bot system but having had interacted with the head office a few times, they really came through in helping me out in a time of need and were understanding. Its always good to talk to a human. Appreciated.
