Dr. Deimel pursued additional training and expertise during his orthopaedic sports fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, while serving as assistant team physician for the San Francisco 49ers and Stanford athletic teams. Prior to joining AHN, Dr. Deimel was an orthopaedic surgeon at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute and clinical instructor in orthopaedic surgery for the University of Chicago Orthopaedic Surgery residency program.
