The gallery features the work of 25+ professional local artists & craftsmen and includes hand-crafted furniture, woodwork, fine art, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, handcrafted audio speakers by SoundCrewe and much more. Area 61 gallery piloted the revitalization of the downtown Chattanooga historic Southside district at 61 E. Main Streetwhich inspired the name area 61. In 2017, as the Southside evolved to residential, dining & entertainment, our gallery owners and artist community decided to relocate closer to out-of-town guests who love collecting local art when they travel.
