JN King is my favorite landscaping company in NOVA. The owner, Nolan, is super knowledgeable and helpful - we often have to do landscaping while prepping homes for sale and he and his team are always able to make the exteriors look beautiful. They’ve also done an awesome job at my own home. Great communication and they take a lot of pride in their work - highly recommend!!

Nolan and team are now my go-to landscape professionals. He was communicative, flexible on schedule, and willing to take on my small job site-unseen. Incredibly impressed with this team. Nolan responded quickly, and within two weeks they had our yard fully cleaned up—stumps trimmed, weeds handled, grass cut, and new growth started.

What really sets them apart: our dogs tore things up shortly after, and they came back within 24 hours to fix it at no extra cost. That kind of service is hard to find.

Professional, responsive, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I’ve previously used Nolan, messaged him Monday to see if he could take care of all the Spring cleanup for our rental property, which was sorely forgotten for a year and a half. He had an estimate for me in less than 3 hours, and had it done within 3 days of contacting him.

We used him about 5 years ago for all of the yard work at our house when my daughter was born and we were over our heads in baby world! He was wonderful back then, and he’s still wonderful now!

Not only are him & his team great at what they do, he’s a really nice guy whose out there to be kind and do good work! Have recommended him to multiple friends!

For those who do not want to read a long review, the short and sweet of it, Nolan and J.N. King Lawn Care team are amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Now, for the long version, we found Nolan and his team by pure luck. We were living in another country while our house was being renovated and needed our yard to be cared for. We reached out to several companies and Nolan was not only the first to respond, he was the only one to respond, the same day at that. Our house went frim the "creepy house" on the street (because you couldnt see it with all the brush) to the envy of the neighborhood. Soon all of our neighbors started having landscaping done and several hired Nolan from the work he has done on our house.

No matter how crazy and outrageous the request, Nolan gets it done. We wanted our back patio expanded, done. We wanted a garden, done. We wanted a privacy screen for our hot tube, done. We wanted the jungle at the end of our yard cleaned out, done. As Nolan says, he will never say we cant do that, he says they will figure it out. I have also never met a person who knows their profession more than him. I can give him the most basic description of a plant and the next day, here he is with it and planting it in our yard. He also has no problem telling us when an idea we have isnt a very good one, he will not rip you off by wasting your money on a useless project. Then there is the fact that Nolan is just a great guy. We really enjoy just hanging out and talking with him when he is here.
