I sold some drums last week. It was great working with Joey. He was honest, nice, and personable. I've got more to sell so I will be back up there. If you plan on selling anything, find out about what it is worth and then divide that in half. That is around what would be offered. Drums are big and a pain to ship, so I had no problem with that.

I bought a banjo during their July 4th sale. The staff was helpful through the entire process. Especially, Eric, as he answered my phone call about their selection, found me a good case, and added the protection plan for free. They only had one banjo in stock, however. Great place for guitars of all kinds. Excellent service!

Had a great experience with Greg the Luthier. Great guy and will be back based on this.

I had called a few other guitar centers on repair times for my instrument. Was told I’d have to give them my instrument and I’d get it back in 3-6 weeks. When I called here Greg told me “come on in I’ll fix it.” I ended up going in the next day. Greg had remembered my name and my problem from the phone call and got to work. He walked me through what he was doing, how it worked, and I learned a ton. We got to taking in general about guitars and he was a wealth of information on the various things that go wrong and why they go wrong.

In the end it turns out that my input jack was not broken, but that I had USA made cables at home with different tolerances causing them to fit differently in my Yamaha Acoustic and that this was a common problem on import guitars. Funnily enough this is my only guitar I’ve had that problem with, but he was absolutely right. We tried another cable and now it can play through my amp with zero issues

Left with the correct cable, some strings, and some new knowledge. Greg even did a minor neck adjustment because he noticed there was a bit on a back bow. Overall great experience, if you’re bringing your instrument in to get it fixed Greg is the MAN.

The Canton, MI, Guitar Center is quite simply the best GC I have ever been in, and one of the very best instrument stores of them all. I have played music on multiple instruments for over fifty years now, and have been a customer of Guitar Center (& Musician's Friend) for several decades now.

The staff and selection at the Canton GC are both truly exceptional. I buy lots of guitars and basses; I both play and collect/display them. The staff are all so efficient and helpful that it's difficult to single anyone out, but Martin has helped me make a few decisions there, as well as helped me out with my trade-ins, and even the occasional return.

The stock at this store is also very well-maintained; the entire staff gets a big hand from me for this. They also have the best selection around; new or used, I almost never leave the store empty-handed.

The Canton, MI, Guitar Center is an exceptional bunch of folks doing great work for area musicians of all types. Highest possible recommendation for them!
