Until this opportunity came along, I could only dream about a role that encompassed three of my passions- children, education, and sewing. As a licensed Family Consumer Science teacher (formerly Home Economics) and school administrator, with over 19 years of experience in education, I have enjoyed teaching and mentoring children from age pre-K to grade 12 in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and Union County Public Schools systems.
