This place is complete trash. I’ve never went to such a terrible place before. The front desk lady was awful she had an attitude towards me and my wife when we were simply just asking basic questions then come to find out somebody who works there lied to us about the whole process so when we got there we had to leave cause “we didn’t have everything we needed” but we called ahead of time and they said we only had to bring in a sample of feces so we did and when we got there they said that we needed to bring our pets in as well. So why didn’t yall say that on the phone? This place is a waste of time and money. Don’t go here.

My Corgi "Oliver" had to have emergency surgery last week. This was our first time going to McLendon and we were blown away at how great they are. From the first call to the check out procedure, they were fantastic. We have had some bad experiences with a few vets in Tuscaloosa. McLendon will be the choice for us from now on. Everyone from the doctor to the lady "Piper" at the front desk were so polite and helpful. The energy there is very positive and they treated us like family right when we walked in. Highly Recommend McLendon.

The staff really helped a lot answering my questions. They care about the animals and their parents. Chunky had wounds from fighting. They cleaned them up and helped the swelling go down. He is doing lots better. This was the third vet I had called. None of them seemed to care but when I called this one they said when can you come. They made me feel so good when they said they could take him.

We love McLendon! The doctors, techs, and front desk staff are all incredibly kind, helpful, and compassionate. They’ve taken such great care of our kitty, Bitty, and always make us feel confident she’s in the best hands.

They truly take the time to explain everything clearly and genuinely listen to any concerns we have. It never feels rushed! We also really appreciate how they go over estimates during visits before moving forward with anything, so we have a clear understanding of the potential costs and can make decisions we feel comfortable with.

I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring vet!

This place exceeded my expectations!! Last week I brought my sick kitty in as an early morning drop in and everyone was very friendly and efficient, from the front desk worker to the vet tech and doctor. Everyone had an uplifting mood and you can tell they love their job. They were happy to hear all of my concerns and answer all my questions. I was in and out a lot faster than expected and they treated my cat with love and care. They were also very helpful by giving their honest opinions on what treatments would and would not be needed and showing the price before hand to discuss.
I am so happy to have found this place and will be only coming here from now on :)
