We bought a brand new Paddle King Boat through Diversified Docks & Lifts in Brighton, MI, hoping to have it ready for our 10 grandchildren for the 4th of July. The initial in-store encounter was welcoming and the boat was delivered on time.

We purchased every accessory including the mooring cover.

Issues:

1. The mooring cover shipped was the incorrect design leaving our new boat exposed to the elements.

- Diversified worked to get us the correct cover expeditiously, however, Paddle King shipped the wrong cover 2x. The 3rd shipment was the correct mooring cover.

2. Faulty Assembly: The canopy was installed incorrectly at the manufacturer with a stripped attachment, leaving it insecure resulting it blowing off during a rain storm.

- Diversified has repaired.

3. There were no snaps on the boat to attach the boat cover.

- Diversified installed the boat snaps.

4. There was a design flaw in the cover leaving two loose flaps.See attached pictures. The cover didn't have snaps where they clearly need snaps to keep out rain, debris, and critters.

- Diversified installed two new buttons onto cover and boat resolving the flap issue. A sizable gap remains for the cover due to poor fit & finish designed by Paddle King.

Final Update - (not a Diversified issue)
The cover has another flaw in it. See pictures. You can see the velcro designed to wrap around the two poles holding the Bimini Top allows for a gap. This gap allows water to enter into the boat area.

See our design concept to cover gap between the two poles holding the Bimini top.

It's a fine boat and appears to be well constructed. The cover should be produced to make sure the boat is protected.

We're thankful for Diversified Docks very responsive service to deliver, repair, modify, and follow-up! They have earned a 5-star review!

I am getting quotes for a new dock and Kate was very patient with all my questions. The quote listed all the parts I needed to make a decision on who to go with. They are definitely top of my list.

Dock is highest quality. Installation team of men were knowledgeable, hardworking & did everything to complete the job to our satisfaction. Brandon communicated to provide us with all the information we needed.
Great dock, great company, would highly recommend them!

These people are the best! Their pricing was fair, and they even found us a discount (boat show) after the original quote when I went in to commit to the purchase. The men who built it and installed it were also awesome. Worked hard, professional and made sure we were completely comfortable operating the lift system before they left. I highly recommend them!
