Fanny's Fabrics in Victoria BC is a huge rip off joint. To buy a meter of material, which was $20.00 a meter and was advertised as being 40% off, you have to buy a membership for $30.00 to get the 40% off. Having worked in retail, I know the markup is 50 to 75%. The extremely rude person who I had to hunt down to get any kind of service, acted like she was doing me a huge favour by offering me this membership, which you, by the way, have to pay for every year. I asked to look at a pattern, the insides of which were removed because I might steal it, so insulting. Will never ever shop there again, terrible service, terrible prices, rude sales people, and extremely high markups.

I have been a volunteer with Special Olympic Athletes for four years and I couldn't think of a more deserving group to help out! These our the forgotten people that spend a lot of time buy themselves hiding out a home. The oppurtunity that the organization Special Olympics gives to people is to make friends, be with their kind, get out and have fun and acheive their personal best.
