Dr. Edwards earned her medical degree from the State University of New York-Downstate Medical Center. She completed a residency in family practice at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital Center, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Edwards has served as a preceptor for Johns Hopkins University nurse practitioner students, as well as Greater Baltimore Medical Center internal medicine residents and University of Maryland Medical Students.
