Dr. Wright earned her Master of Science in Anatomy and her medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed a residency in general surgery at University of Maryland Medical Center, where she served as chief resident and administrative chief resident. Dr. Wright also completed a trauma research fellowship with the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Wright serves as the cancer liaison physician for the American College of Surgeons, of which she is also a fellow. Dr. Wright is also a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
