I have been going to the Joy of Dance Studio for awhile now, and have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff are super friendly, the instructors patient and knowledgable, and there's a good mix of beginner and more advanced dancers there. There's a variety of dance styles taught here, from ballroom to latin to hip hop. I have always found their rates comparable to other studios in the city, and there's both male and female instructors on staff every time I've been. I would recommend them to anybody. Good location too, right next to the Broadview subway station.

The Joy of Dance Studio is a great dance school, located in the heart of downtown Toronto. They offer dance classes for kids, teens and adults, in either a group setting or you can take private dance lessons as well. You don't have to be a great dancer to start either - beginners are always welcome (and quite a few of the students seem to be beginners). Highly recommended.
