This post is solely to give kudos to our server Cindy (Cynthia). Originally I was not thrilled about sitting in the bar area, but her welcoming smile and “how yall doing today,” instantly made me feel better about where we were seated. We are from the south and she truly made us feel at home. Her laugh was contagious and she was super attentive and personable. Even when the bar filled up and she was given a few more tables, her attentiveness and excellent service never wavered. Every restaurant needs a Cindy because she is truly the example of what exceptional service looks like. My husband and son love the ribs and they were tender and good as expected. I had steak and grilled shrimp which was also really good. HOWEVER, Cindy was the real highlight of our visit!

Our server/Bar tender, Cindy was awesome. She took great care of us and made delicious drinks. Her friendly nature definitely would motivate us to return again.

As Brit’s, we tend to be reticent to complain, and then beat ourselves up afterwards, so no change there! Last week, we had an excellent steak at Mission Outback, so went back again today, which was a real disappointment. Service from Justin was speedy and efficient when it came to salads and drinks, but we waited ages for our steaks, even though restaurant was not busy. When the steaks were served, the Filet was as expected, but the Delmonico was just awful. Served with broccoli, which was not ordered, it seemed to be an apology for the delay in serving the meals, although nothing was said except for a mumbled apology for the delay from Justin, but the steak was cooked medium to well done, and nothing like the description of thick and juicy - it was thin and tasteless - pictures of sliced steak attached - no evidence of pink or rare anywhere. Just very very disappointing from a steakhouse which should do much better.

I came here last month with my mother to celebrate Mother's Day, and we had a great experience! We arrived pretty close to closing since my mom had just gotten off work, so she felt anxious about staying too late. Our server, Sharon, was incredibly kind and reassuring. She told us not to worry and made us feel welcome instead of rushed. She was very patient with us throughout the visit, and she even gave us a $10 Mother's Day gift card, which was such a nice surprise and definitely a highlight of our night.

The food was good overall. I ordered the Queensland Chicken & Shrimp Pasta but substituted the shrimp for steak because of my shrimp allergy. The chicken was definitely the star of the dish flavorful and cooked well. The steak was a little chewy and somewhat tough to swallow, but it still kept me full. My mom ordered the Victoria's Filet Mignon & Grilled Lobster with steamed broccoli and a side of House Salad. The filet mignon was cooked nicely, and the lobster was okay. The House Salad was very good but I wasn't a fan of the cheese.
Since we came near closing, the restaurant was quiet, which I actually enjoyed. The dining area was spacious and had plenty of comfortable booths.
This was my first time ever visiting an Outback Steakhouse, and thanks to the great service from Sharon, I had a very positive first impression. I'd definitely come back again!

This place probably has some of the best service in San Diego. The staff is friendly, professional, and very attentive. I don’t know how they hire, but the servers here are truly excellent. Five stars for service.

The food was good overall. Everything we tried was tasty and well prepared, with no major issues. The only thing that stood out was the Caesar salad, which tasted a bit off. It could have been just my taste, so I won’t judge too harshly. We didn’t complain, but I hope the restaurant keeps an eye on consistency.

Overall, a very good experience, especially because of the outstanding service. I would definitely come back.
