i had braces done here and my teeth were crooked straight out of braces after being in them for almost 3 years i wear my retainer every night and even on my retainer the teeth aren’t straight

There are so many things I have to say about Karbassi orthodontist but if you want me to be 100% honest I have no idea where to start. I had a two year treatment plan with braces and had a ton of work done to my mouth. All the way from getting 5 teeth pulled to getting surgery awake. I was nothing but patient, polite, and understanding during this process. Most of the ladies working there are nice however Dr. Karbassi himself was nothing more than unprofessional, misleading, inconsistent, and careless. I as well as many others dreaded going in. Once you get called to come back and you sit down a lady will come over and tighten them or etc, but then you have to wait until Dr. Karbassi has time to come over to you just to check that everything looks correct. By the time he gets to you while you sit there DREADING what negative things he has to say (it’s literally like walking on eggshells) once in a blue moon he’ll joke around with you but majority of the time he’s a very mean man. Whether you aren’t holding the mirror correct, don’t have your head back enough, don’t worry he’ll make sure to force his bad day on you. I sucked it up for two years and did everything I was told to do. I was very patiently waiting to get out. I ended up getting my braces off and had my retainer for just about 6 months. As I did not want to go back I made sure to wear my retainer every single night. With just about 6 months in I noticed that my top retainer had gotten loose and I also noticed a gap in between my front teeth (before braced I never had this issue). I then made an appointment and went in. I told him my concerns and he got extremely angry and embarrassed me in front of everyone in the room. I was told very loudly that it was my fault because I hadn’t been to the dentist in the past six months (which is weird because your supposed to go every YEAR) and I had a cavity in between my front teeth. Naturally I freaked out because I am so hygienic I started questioning maybe it’s because I brush my teeth too much?? After I left I made a dentist appointment. I was told by this dentist that anybody who knows about teeth and that properly looked in between my teeth would very well know it wasn’t even the start of a cavity. I was told to never let this man touch my mouth again because he will do even more damage. After the two years of rushed appointments, misleading information, insufficient explanation of treated, I was left with gaps in my smile, and a sever overbite to the point where only the back two teeth are touching, I was left with nothing but the lack of accountability from Dr. Karbassi. My overbite he made worse, and the gap in between my teeth are because of it. I now have an Invisalign which I will have for another year/year and a half. I am very grateful to be out of this disgusting environment and I just want to spread my story so that anybody who is considering going to him, takes another look. I honestly had a overall terrible and disappointing experience. This is a business build by a very hostile, short tempered, overbearing, and unprofessional man. At the end of my experience when I got my braces off I was FORCED into leaving a positive review. Before they let me out of the chair they made me go on they’re website and give a 5 star review. That is the only reason it shows a he has a 4.0 do not let this place fool you.

This place is terrible. Disorganized, always running out of stuff, Dr Karbassi is rude, condescending and invalidating. He’s EXTREMLY rough with patients. I’ve voiced multiple concerns only for them to be dismissed. So much money went into my braces only for me teeth to come out worse than they went in. (I will put photos) They are severely worn down, my overbite is still here, they’re extremely sensitive now, and my mouth was POURING blood after he removed my braces after he said he wouldn’t even touch my gums. Horrible with scheduling. I’m gonna have to get my teeth COMPLETELY redone and possibly reshaped too. This place is a damn joke. Don’t waste your time. the two up close are right after my braces got taken off. The other is the before and after molding, and the last is a friggin night guard. They gave me a night guard. Not a retainer. That I only have to wear at night. I have severe teeth grinding problems and I’m gonna chew right through the paper thin plastic.

Amazing people and very caring for the child my 13 year old son had to get couple teeth pulled to get his braces and they did an amazing job at making him feel very comfortable highly recommend this place.
