Wow! I can't remember which year I received such excellent service; I'd call it an exceptional customer experience. Impeccable service from start to finish in just one hour: eye exam, complete selection of glasses (3 pairs), contact lens file checked, and invoice paid. A very pleasant atmosphere, and all the employees present worked with a smile; there was a real sense of harmony. A truly enjoyable experience. After such service, I couldn't imagine shopping anywhere else, not even to save money.

I am disappointed and you can't even imagine how. Here are the facts: I went to take my vision test that the SAAQ is asking me for (61 years old), is that normal after having seen the ophthalmologist. (Ms. X asked me to redo a test, the one with the little lights that you press when you see them, without knowing why. I redid the test, and then she informed me that it wasn't 100%, but she said she was used to it and that it wouldn't have any impact... Perfect, I paid for the inspection and went straight to the paperwork... I received a letter from the SAAQ informing me that the problem wasn't conclusive. They required me to rent a Class 1 truck and demonstrate to them that everything was OK... I hadn't gone back to work yet, so I quickly started looking for a truck. I contacted companies, and I understand them. I called driving schools, and they explained that they wouldn't let the trucks go unless I rented one for a minimum of 8 to 10 hours, and I'll spare you the expense, which is still justified... I went elsewhere to take another test, but surprise, surprise, when I arrived at the infamous test He asked me to remove my glasses because the frame was wider and I might not be able to see everywhere unless I had this problem... Guess what? I passed! I decided to contact the SAAQ to explain, but it was no use. The result of all this is that I lost my classes, my job, and even my dream for my retirement, which was to get my CPL license... private pilot... I won't go into the rest, I'm heartbroken. I went there with a unique frame I had purchased. It needed tinted lenses for sunglasses, but they added them without any problem.

However, the optician has some magnificent ones.

A few years ago, I needed an urgent eye exam and they saw me (I wasn't a regular customer). I was instantly charmed, it was love at first sight! The welcome and atmosphere were warm and the staff were incredibly friendly. I knew right away that this was MY go-to place for all my needs (eye exams, help and advice on choosing frames and contact lenses). Since then, I've gone back every year, and each time I find the staff happy, pleasant, and very competent!
I highly recommend New Look in Louiseville!!
