My wife and I had a wonderful 4-night stay at The Addison on Amelia Island. Inn-keepers Ron & Lisa were wonderfully attentive hosts, providing a stay featuring beautiful accommodations, a 5-star breakfast each morning and a wine/beer social every evening. Our room (#3) was perfect, spacious with an en-suite bathroom with both tub and a separate shower. Our spacious balcony with table and chairs overlooked Ash Street. Sadly we were not able to enjoy it to its fullest due to the exceptionally hot July weather we’re having this year (2026). We live in SW Florida, so we know about summer’s heat. During every other season the balcony would be a fabulous “perch” to enjoy all day long. Our next visit will be in more hospitable weather and we’ll likely book the same room (although I’m sure the other rooms are equally fantastic.) We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach. The Addison’s location is just perfect for walking the entire old town historic streets. So many shops/stores to visit and restaurants and bars to choose from, all within walking distance. For four days, we moved our car only twice, once to visit Clinch Fort, a spectacular “must see”, and once to get to our CraigCat Adventure boat tour (also a “must do”) . As inn-keepers, Ron & Lisa are exceptional, offering great accommodations, a wonderful breakfast and happy-hour, and great conversation. They clearly love the Addison and Amelia Island, and are able to offer their guests great suggestions, especially for first timers visiting the area. We had a wonderful stay, and will be back for sure.

The Addison was the perfect place to stay. The establishment was quiet, lovely and exceptionally clean. Lisa and Ron were wonderful hosts who were easily accessible and friendly. The location is amazing as it is one block from Centre Street, providing a variety of so many delicious restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance. A delicious breakfast can be enjoyed either in the dining room or out on the patio to begin the day along with plenty of hot or cold beverages to enjoy as needed. I would 100% recommend this Bed & Breakfast and look forward to returning soon.

This B&B is in a beautiful location, we enjoyed staying in the historic area close to restaurants and a short walk from the marina. We were welcomed warmly and shown to our large ground floor room. Overall it is a nice establiment and offers a lot of extras including Anniversary and other special occasion extras. It is very nice that they offer beach umbrellas, chairs, and towells no need to lug our own. Our large ground floor room very nice except for the bed which had a slight hump and was a little firm. The bathroom was nice except for a slight amount of mold around the tub which can be expected in a humid environment. I did try the soaking tub, but was disappointed when what appeared to be mold came out of the jets. I was not a big fan of the breakfast, the portions were quite small with a few pieces of fruit and overcooked breakfast enchilada on our first day and eggy French toast casserole with one slice of bacon the second day. The best part of this breakfast was was the tiny quiche and muffin. Not what i expected from the description of a three course breakfast. We opted to eat elsewhere on our last day.

My name is Michella. My husband Darian and I needed somewhere to celebrate our anniversary during COVID and we chose The Addison as it was close to home but still a welcomed change of scenery. It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. The hosts were great and accommodating. The service they provided was excellent. The room was a little small but cozy. The location was good and close to restaurants and activities.

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays at The Addison. We absolutely loved our weekend away there. The space is beautiful, and close to down town shops and restaurants. The Inn is gorgeous, cozy, and a great place to relax. Lise and Ron were wonderful hosts! They made an amazing home made breakfast every morning, and the happy hour was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Their black lab Sandy was an added bonus who loved to join us on the patio. We will definitely be back again!.
