Dr. Schafer was unprofessional who did nothing but gaslight me. She saw my records and immediately attacked me She said to me "It is inappropriate of me to be seeing different doctors" somehow the appt became very personal for her, kept using her background with UCLA and became defensive over her profession which had nothing to do with me being there. I suffer from endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroid, and cyst. Saying such things when all I needed from her was a referral to a gynecologist who specializes with endo. For those who are suffering this condition know the extreme difficulty of finding a gynecologist who specializes with endo here in LA and Dr. Schafer who clearly didnt care to know that the general gynecologist I had been sent told me they don't work with endo patients. I learned that I was being placed with general gynos, including Dr. Schafer who didnt know mich about endometriosis. . She pushed for hormonal treatment and said it's the only way. DO NOT accept endometriosis advice from her.
